Help us in our deep sadness and mourning
for the poor victims of the devastating hurricane that struck
with sudden violence and destruction.

Tears that flow, hearts that are broken cry out to You in anguish,

in the incomprehensible tragedy that cruelly has taken so much.

Please Comfort us in mourning.

Bless the souls of the dead;

Bless the sorrowing, grieving families,

The lives that are broken.

The traumatized children.

Bless the homeless.

Bless the poverty stricken.

Please Help us to find Comfort;

Help us to recover from the injustice,

To rebuild and to raise the fallen;

To find peace of mind.

Lift us from the unrelenting darkness to Your Marvelous Light.

Help us, FATHER In Heaven,
Help us in Your Pity and Your Mercy.

Continue to Lead us, Deliver us from the cruel evil
that so mercilessly, cruelly and horrifically takes the lives of our people.
